Every two years since 1991, Benton County has transformed itself into Quilt County in the fall. Quilt County 2013 once again honors the art and craft of quilt making with 24 diverse exhibits. Quilt County is sponsored by the Marys River Quilt Guild and the Benton County Historical Museum, in cooperation with other Benton County cultural agencies, churches, shops and galleries. Quilt County organized by Marys River Quilt Guild with support from the Benton County Museum.

3. Off the Beaten Path...a Quilter's Safari

Loosely Bound captures the bounty of the Willamette Valley harvest by featuring the fruits and flowers native to the region. A special group project was created by tiling an original photograph into varied shapes and using innovative surface design techniques to create the "glorious garden".
Wall hangings and art quilts that have been "inspired" by a picture or an event. Display organized and made by Breaking Free.
12. surFace Forward
This juried exhibit deals with contemporary surface design, concentrated on textiles and basketry. Very exciting things are happening in the textile world on surface design; experimental techniques and an entirely open approach has created unexpected results.
